Regiolux GmbH welcomes you to our website and your interest in our company and products. We consider the protection of personal data to be an important matter. Personal data is disclosed voluntarily. Regiolux GmbH shall process such data in compliance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the German Telemedia Act and the German Data Protection Act.

2. Personal data
Personal data is individual information about the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual, including information such as your IP address, real name, address, telephone number and date of birth. 6. Disclosure of data
Your personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties, unless required for the purpose of contract implementation or where you have explicitly granted consent to this. Thus, for example, it may be necessary to forward your address and order data to your wholesale partners for product orders. If we commission external service providers, they shall be carefully selected and obliged to observe all data protection regulations, pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.
7. Use of cookies
Cookies are used on some of our websites. Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your computer when you visit our website. They allow us to design our website individually for the user. Data that use a cookie, for example an access password, shall be stored on your computer. If you do not want cookies to be used, please change the settings for cookie administration in your web browser.
8. Newsletter
If you would like to receive the newsletter provided on the website, we need your email address and information to enable us to check that you are the owner of the specified email address and agree to receive the newsletter (double opt-in method). In order to personalise the newsletter, we shall store personal data, e.g. first name, surname and company. We shall exclusively use such data to send the requested information and to document your consent. You may withdraw consent for the storage of data, the email address and use thereof to send the newsletter at any time and with future effect, for example through the “Deregister” link in the newsletter. We use an external provider for administration and dispatch of our newsletter. Naturally the provider has been carefully selected and subjected to an obligation to observe all data protection regulations in compliance with Article 28 GDPR.
9. Statistical analysis
The Regiolux website uses the open-source software Matomo. Matomo is a web analysis service for the statistical analysis of visitor access. The analytical software is configured in compliance with data protection requirements. Matomo uses “cookies”. They are text files, which are temporarily stored on the computer. Usage information in the cookie shall be forwarded to us anonymously in order to improve our website. Your IP address will be abbreviated. Registered user information shall be transferred to our own server and not forwarded to third parties. You may deactivate the use of cookies in the browser settings. However, in this case, you might not be able to make full use of all the website’s functions.
By using this website you hereby declare your consent to processing of the data collected by Matomo about you in the manner and for the purpose designated above. Only authorised persons shall have access to such anonymised data.
If you do not consent to data being recorded by Matomo, you may subsequently deactivate it under “Deactivate statistical analysis”. An “opt-out cookie” is stored on your computer, instructing Matomo not to record any user information.

Our safety measures are continually improved in accordance with technological development.
11. Period of data storage
We shall essentially store your data for as long as necessary to provide our online range of provision and associated services, or as long as we have a legitimate interest in continued storage (e.g. we may still have a legitimate interest in postal marketing even after fulfilment of a contract). Data shall be deleted following expiry of statutory or contractual retention periods (e.g. retention periods under tax and commercial law). Data which are not subject to the retention obligation shall be deleted once the designated purpose is no longer applicable.
