Our commitment to accessibility
We are committed to ensuring that our websites are accessible to all users, regardless of their abilities or the technology they use. Our goal is to meet or exceed the guidelines for accessible web content.
Status of the agreement with the requirements
The website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements of EU Directive 2016/2102 and the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG). There are individual areas that are not yet fully accessible.
Non-accessible content
The following content is currently not yet fully accessible in all aspects:
- Alternative texts for images: Some images do not yet have meaningful alternative texts
- Navigation: Navigation via keyboard or screen reader is restricted in certain areas (including highlighting/keyboard focus of the selected element)
- Contrasts: Some text and graphic elements may not have sufficient contrast.
- Documents: Some downloadable documents (e.g. PDFs) are not fully accessible
- Embedded videos: Some videos on the website do not have subtitles or audio description.
Measures to improve accessibility
We are currently actively working on a fundamental redesign of our website and will take the points mentioned into account from the outset in order to remove the barriers that currently still exist.
Additional measures are also:
- Training for our employees to create accessible content
- Regular review of the website for accessibility
- Adjustment and optimization of the technical infrastructure
